ZOONEYFEST has been established to provide financial assistance to persons faced with critical, life changing needs in the Southern Tier.

ZOONEYFEST 2008 will benefit the Children's Home and Elliot Root, a 1 year old suffering from a heart defect requiring several surgeries.

ZOONEYFEST is an annual event aimed at raising awareness and financial support for people living in the Southern Tier facing life-changing events and the organizations that support them. In 2005 the inaugural ZOONEYFEST raised funds for Joe Zunic to offset medical expenses for his battle with ALS. Joe, always the first person to help someone in need, insisted the benefit become an annual event to assist those facing similar circumstances. Joe passed away last January. In celebration of Joe’s legacy, his family and a few thousand of his closest friends are hosting the 4^th Annual ZOONEYFEST on September 13^th at the Country Pines, Endicott, NY. This year’s event will benefit the Children's Home and Elliot Root, a 1 year old suffering from a heart defect requiring several surgeries.
