The Journey Continues Saturday, September 11th, 2010 - We Will Never Forget ZOONEYFEST has been established to provide financial assistance to persons faced with critical, life changing needs in the Southern Tier. ZOONEYFEST 2010 will benefit Michael Meade who is battling ALS, the Handicapped Children's Association, Red Cross first responders, and the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier. ZOONEYFEST is an annual event aimed at raising awareness and financial support for people living in the Southern Tier facing life-changing events and the organizations that support them. In 2005 the inaugural ZOONEYFEST raised funds for Joe Zunic to offset medical expenses for his battle with ALS. Joe, always the first person to help someone in need, insisted the benefit become an annual event to assist those facing similar circumstances. Joe passed away in January 2008. In celebration of Joe’s legacy, his family and a few thousand of his closest friends are hosting the 6th Annual ZOONEYFEST on September 11th at the Country Pines, Endicott, NY.
